Infini Premiers August 11th at Hollyshorts

BITPIX ORIGINAL SCI FI ACTION/ADVENTURE DIGITAL SERIES INFINI FROM HOLLYSHORTS STUDIOS SET FOR WORLD PREMIERE ON AUGUST 11

Hollywood JULY 28, 2016---The new BITPIX original short form digital sci fi action/adventure series INFINI from HollyShorts Studios will receive its world premiere on Thursday August 11 at the 12th Annual HollyShorts Film Festival’s opening night celebration. The action/adventure pilot from the mind of L. Philippe Casseus (Lionsgate’s Freelancers) features a global cast and stars: Wilhelmina LA model and actress Raquel Pomplun (The Gambler, Agents of S.H.I.E.LD), Jaylen Moore (History Channel’s Six, Fantastic Four, RoboCop), Malcolm Barrett (NBC’s Timeless, Dear White People, Larry Crown), Kelly Albanese (Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Season 8 Motion Comic) and French superstar Yassine Azzouz (La disintegration). INFINI’s Stunt coordinator is the Emmy nominated Eddie Perez (Showtime’s Shameless, Fast 8).

INFINI tells the story of Nyla (Raquel Pomplun) as she faces new nemesis and old friends. Timelines are blurred as the SINGULARITY rapidly approaches. She is tasked by an unknown to unearth an ancient talisman, which has the power to unite mankind.

Following the premiere, the INFINI pilot will run exclusively on BITPIX, the new short form destination for high quality premium content featuring exclusive shorts, premium web series and original shows. BITPIX was born from the founders of HollyShorts and the platform is currently available on web, Roku, Amazon Firestick and shortly on Apple TV.

In October 2014, the HollyShorts Film Festval founders created HollyShorts Studios, a production arm designed to create high quality original content for multiple platforms featuring the festival’s top alumni brass. INFINI was Written and Directed by L. Philippe Casseus, the acclaimed writer behind Lionsgate’s film Freelancers, which stars Robert DeNiro, Forrest Whitaker and Curtis 50 Cent Jackson. The choreographer for INFINI is Chantal Robson (worked with artists Madonna, Usher, Christina Aguilera, ‘N Sync, Britney Spears, Demi Lovato, Victoria Justice, One Direction, Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande and Madison Beers). INFINI Producers include Theo Dumont, L. Philippe Casseus and Daniel Sol. Ben Andrews and Lanre Idewu are EP’s.
